About the Topic
This seminar introduces the 2016 AISC Seismic Provisions and the 3rd Edition of the Seismic Design Manual. It highlights proper application of key design and detailing requirements and introduces the important technical changes in the recently updates Seismic Provisions. Design examples from the 3rd Edition of the Seismic Design Manual will be included. The seminar reviews general design considerations, performance goals and role of inelastic and force control elements. The seminar then reviews provisions applicable to al seismic force resisting systems before an in-depth review of moment frames and braced frames.

About the Speaker
Tom Sabol, S.E., P.E., Ph.D., author of the lecture, is a principal at Englekirk, a Los Angeles based firm specializing in structural and earthquake engineering, historical rehabilitation, and wind engineering.

Only one discounted Manual purchase per registrant allowed and must be purchased in advance.  No on-site sales will take place.

Cancellation Policy
You have until close of business on Friday, April 24, 2020 to cancel your registration and receive a refund less a $100 Cancellation Fee. Cancellations and no shows the day of the seminar will receive no refund.
